Lesson Recap

Great job getting through this lesson. As a recap, we focused on laying the groundwork for the rest of the course by introducing traditional GRC at a high level and then distinguished security GRC as a more tactical approach to supporting the business focused on security controls.

We then discussed high-level goals for each of the three GRC roles and illustrated how each role could have a substantial impact on adjacent roles, stakeholders, and the business.

As a side note, this course is a foundational course that is meant to help build the knowledge to become job-ready, but you will likely need additional training and/or coursework in order to obtain a job in this field. These foundations will set you up for success going forward and are vital to your success in this field.
